Hand-cut vinyl records exhibited at various venues during 2011-2013
Each vinyl piece playfully mixes together a range of animals, some of which in the real world might be natural adversaries. While the silhouetted form, shape and appearance of animals are central to the vinyl works, the animal – particularly animal sentience and animal‐human relations – have long been the focus of my artwork. The inherent aesthetically pleasing form of each animal multiplies when placed together, expanding the associative and transformative elements of both the animals and recycled vinyl material.
